June 2nd in Castelsaraceno

Take advantage of the Bridge of June 2 to visit the charming village of Castelsaraceno and live the adventure of crossing the longest Tibetan village in the world! And yet… enjoy one of the oldest traditions of Basilicata!

Itinerary:

♦ 09:30 am – Departure Excursion to the Belvedere of Monte Alpi*

♦01:00 pm – Lunch bag of typical Lucanian products in the evocative environment of the “Festa della ‘Ndenna” (photo taken from here: https:///www.ritiarboreilucani.it/castelsaraceno/)

♦ 04:00 pm – Crossing the longest Tibetan Bridge in the World

♦06:00 pm – Appointment in Piazza S. Antonio for the arrival of the tree in the country (2 or 4 June) – Alternatively visit to the Museum of Pastoralism

♦ 08:30 pm – Dinner in a typical local restaurant***

♦ Overnight in an apartment at the Hotel inside the village of Castelsaraceno

→ The cost of this package is from 240€ per person.

NB: tourist tax and extras are payable on site.

Price valid for a minimum of 4 people. For lower numbers 15% increase.

*The excursion can be done by e-bike or trekking. In the second case the starting point will be reached by own means.

**Starter: selection of cold cuts and cheeses. First: Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Second: ‘Nnuglia of Castelsaraceno grilled or podolica burger + side dish, bread and water covered. House wine included (one 0.75 L bottle for every 3 persons).

Terms and methods of payment: 30% at booking – Balance 4 days. before the chosen date. Cancellation policy: 100% refund for cancellations within 72h of the event. 50% refund for cancellations within 48h. No refund for cancellations within 24h.
