Day 2 Breakfast in Hotel and morning dedicated to the visit of Polignano a Mare. Afternoon dedicated to another seaside town, Monopoli. In the heart of the historic center, on a small peninsula formally called “Turris Paola”, shows up the majestic castle of Monopoli. Day 3 Breakfast in hotel and morning dedicated to the visit of Locorotondo, considered one of the “Most Beautiful Hamlets in Italy.” Continuation to Martina Franca and walk through the hamlet, until reaching the Oil Mill “L’Acropoli di Puglia”, where it will be possible to take a tour of the mill and have an oil tasting. Free lunch. In the afternoon visit of Alberobello, UNESCO heritage site since 1996. The city is famous all over the world for its Trulli, white conical stone constructions. Day 4 Breakfast in Hotel. Transfer to reach Gravina in Puglia, rupestrian city par excellence, chosen by many directors as film sets for several internationally renowned films. You will be able to see up close and feel the 700 Acquedotto Bridge from which you can enjoy unparalleled views. Free lunch. In the evening the tour continues with the visit of the city of Altamura. Walking among the cloisters you will be able to admire the cathedral that towers majestically in the city’s historic center. Altamura is best known for its product of excellence, P.D.O. Bread. The tour includes a stop inside one of the city’s oldest bakeries. Transfer to Hotel in Matera. Free dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 Breakfast in Hotel and morning dedicated to the visit of the city of Matera. The city of the Sassi has been declared UNESCO heritage site in 1993. This beautiful city also counts the title of European Capital of Culture 2019. Among unusual alleys and glimpses you could admire the artistic, historical and architectural beauties of the wonderful Matera. Free lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the Palombaro Lungo, the biggest tank in Matera, digged in Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Afterwards, the tour continues on the Murgia Park, where at sunset the view becomes breathtaking. Return to hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.
