A family that lives for its passion for the land and for one of its noblest and most important products, extra-virgin olive oil, in fact. The company in question also won First Place in the Regional Olivarum Competition in the National Olive Academy’s Tournament in Basilicata, with the “Olio dei Sassi” brand. The tour is divided into three different moments: excursion inside the fields, visit to the oil mill and oil tasting.

In detail:

• Olive tree grove excursion: after explaining the history of the company, a visit to the packaging workshop will follow and the preservation and bottling process will be explained;
• Oil Tasting: explanations will be given for the recognition of a good extra-virgin olive oil and the approach to tasting will be accompanied by “bread of Matera”;
• Olive tree grove excursion: after explaining the history of the company, explanations will be given about the territory, plantations and cultivars planted. The various stages of cultivation will also be explained and, depending on the time of year, you will be able to witness the activities carried out on site: tree pruning or olive harvesting;
• Visit to the oil mill: milling processes will be described with a tour among the machinery used to extract extra-virgin olive oil. It will be followed by a tour of the packaging laboratory and the preservation and bottling process will be explained;
• Oil tasting: explanations will be given for the recognition of a good extra-virgin olive oil and the approach to tasting accompanied by “bread of Matera”
