10:30 – Departure from Alberobello

Meet at the Bus Check-Point parking area and depart for Matera. Relax on board — we’ll take care of the road.

11:30 – Arrival at Castello Tramontano in Matera

Option 1: Enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time to take photos and start exploring the city on your own. At 12:30, meet the group at the Martulli Viaggi DMC office and begin the guided tour through Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano, wandering along charming alleys, rock churches, and breathtaking viewpoints. Visit a Casa Grotta museum to discover how people once lived in cave dwellings and explore the evocative Rock Church of San Antonio Abate. Option 2: Explore Matera at your own pace, discovering scenic corners, artisan shops, and panoramic cafés. You will have approximately 3 hours of free time before returning to Alberobello.

14:30 – Return to the Castle and return to Alberobello:

Meet at Castello Tramontano and transfer back to Alberobello.

A full refund can only be granted if the cancellation request is received at least 3 days before the scheduled tour departure date. Otherwise, the full tour cost will be charged.

• Cancellation Within 3 Days of Departure:
- If the cancellation occurs within 3 days of the tour departure date, 100% of the tour fee will be charged as a cancellation penalty. This policy is in place to secure service bookings and cover any expenses already incurred.

Good to know before booking:

The tour is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 5 participants. You will be contacted a few days before departure to confirm availability. In case of cancellation, a full refund will be issued or an alternative departure will be offered.
