Easter in Alberobello in the Itria Valley

Meet at Bari Airport with the scheduled shared transfer at 3:00 PM to reach Alberobello (approx. 1 hour). Check-in at a hotel near the center of Alberobello, followed by free time in the evening. We recommend enjoying a lovely aperitif on a terrace! Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

A day dedicated to discovering the flavors of the Valle d'Itria! After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Putignano to visit a winery that includes: Fermentation room with an explanation of the various production phases; The historic part of the winery, founded in the 1800s and entirely carved into the typical white Apulian stone; While walking through the underground spaces, you will reach two other very interesting areas, such as the Corridoio delle Stampe and the Bottaie, where the barrels have been transformed into comfortable seats. The tour ends with a tasting of 6 wines, accompanied by an aperitif with local products, including: Fried broad beans and toasted almonds; Carrots from San Vito (Polignano), cut into julienne; Artisanal Apulian tarallini; Barese focaccia, Friselline with cherry tomatoes, and Aiello EVO oil; Mozzarella, nodini, Primo sale with arugula, and Scamorza; Pecorino cheese, semi-aged Caciocavallo, and wine-aged Caciocavallo; Capocollo from Martina Franca, pancetta, and salami. After the experience, return to Alberobello to begin the guided tour of the city of Trulli, which lasts approximately 2 hours: Visit Rione Monti, the monumental area of the city, where over a thousand trulli are arranged side by side, many of which house artisan shops, cafés, and restaurants. The tour continues with a visit to the quiet Rione Aia Piccola, a residential area that has remained untouched by commercial activities, offering a glimpse into the medieval history of Alberobello. The journey continues with a visit to the Casa d’Amore, a National Monument since 1930, showing the evolution of the construction of trulli into 19th-century dwellings. The tour will end with a visit to the Trullo Church of Saint Anthony, located at the highest point of the city, blending perfectly with the surrounding landscape. Return to Hotel with dinner and overnight stay.

A day dedicated to relaxation and celebrating the holiday, creating convivial moments with the other participants. After breakfast at the hotel, free time to experience the city of Alberobello like a local! Meet at 1:00 PM at the Olmo Bello restaurant, which delights guests with traditional Apulian cuisine and creative dishes from the chef.
Return to Hotel with dinner and overnight stay.

Pasquetta is synonymous with outdoor experiences, so why not dedicate it to a farm stay that offers many experiences? After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, transfer to a farm in Martina Franca to explore the estate – including the livestock farm, dairy, ancient oven, vegetable garden, and the cave chapel consecrated in the early 1800s. Then, proceed to the adjacent forest to begin various nature-based activities. The experience concludes with a lovely Easter Monday lunch in the forest.

Once the experience is completed, transfer to Bari airport.
