Description

Explore the flavors and traditions of Basilicata with our Vulture excursion.
The trip begins with a visit to the renowned Re Manfredi wineries in Venosa. Nestled among the vineyards, the Montrone family will guide you through the history and anecdotes of their winery while you delight in a tasting of three fine local wines, accompanied by a light lunch of typical Lucanian dishes.
After a moment of relaxation, we will head to the picturesque Monticchio Lakes, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Abbey of San Michele. Alternatively, in case of inclement weather, we will explore Melfi with its imposing fortress and the "Massimo Pallottino" National Archaeological Museum.
The journey ends with the return to Bari, enriched by the experience of a day dedicated to discovering the culture and flavors of Basilicata.

Upon request, it is possible to depart from Altamura and Matera.

Package includes minibus transfers to and from Bari, guided tours of the Re Manfredi wineries and the Monticchio Lakes (or Melfi Castle as an alternative), light lunch with local products, wine tasting and escort.
